As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this Large before 18th century, Ivory Netsuke depicting a coiled Dragon, this Kyoto school style Netsuke has been finely carved from a wedge shaped slice of Ivory.
Coiled dragon is shown with a fierce expression, Very rare and large and powerful figures of dragon.
The Dragon is intertwined amidst swirling clouds, This is high quality carving where hundreds of years of handling have left a beautiful mellow patination , I am sure fantastic addition to your Japanese Netsuke or works of art collection.
